I'm not a fan of Novak at all, but let's pull the brakes here. He's one of the most mentally tough players we've ever seen. If he's a quitter, then 99.8 percent of tennis players are quitters.
To literally have a history of quitting going back 15+ years is exact opposite of mentally tough. Can't be supposedly "mentally tough" only when things are going your way. Doesn't work like that. Load management GOAT
Nadal and Djokovic never had to do that though 
. Federer got so many wins off of the 90s players, his era, Djokovic's era, and the Next Gen era. And was still a very decent player at the age of 40
