On grass? I don't know about all that....

Iga really hasn't been tested this tournament. The best player she's played is Samsonova who she owns.
I think she poses too many problems for Amanda

Return of serve is better than Salalenka, movement and even her serve though not as big can be rock solid then there's the fact she won't give much away cheaply in the way of unforced errors

If she makes the final I think its a bad match up but of course the chance is there for Amanda consdiering Swiateks lack of major success outside of clay

I'm all for any rivalries between her and Gauff and Osaka (and the ensuring fan fiction.)

She is going to be the (queen) no pun intended of the U.S. Open.

@I love Latina women @RennisDeynolds @Cheese McNair she's 23, looks 27, but we do what we can with what we can

Hoping we end up seeing Anisimova and Djokovic winning. I think it will be Alcaraz for the men though.

I'm not rooting for two cheaters in Sinner and Iga.. If it had been the GOAT in their situations, he would have been banned for life. Already had numerous Grand Slams stolen from him.

I think we quickly forget how much Iga has struggled in the past 12 months. She hasn't won a tournament, let alone a slam. One final appearance, in which she got trucked by Pegula.

Anisimova's run isn't really a surprise. She was a dark horse to make this run pre-tournament because of her draw. I really think Amanda will win it all.

She may have struggled but when she makes it to a final watch out, hasn't lost a GS final yet and currently 5 for 5

We'll see, gotta win today first.

Would be nice to see a first time GS winner though

When Iga gets on a roll, she’s like a freight train :pachaha: She definitely gets enjoyment in annihilating her opponents. Match was already over when Bencic didn’t offer much resistance in the first set.
