I think Zverev not living up to expectations kind of created this 2 headed Carlos/Jannik monster. Djokovic's fall off is expected, but Zverev not giving any resistance doesn't make for any parity for the Men's side

I prefer the quality of play from the men at the highest level, but the women definitely have more quality parity as a whole. There are probably 5-10 women you can tell me will win a major in the next year and I wouldn't be "shocked" by any of them. With the men, that number is MAYBE three or four, and that is also factoring in that one of Alcaraz/Sinner get knocked out before the Championship.
