Tiafoe fumbled so many chances over the years. There was a point in time (Like 3 years) where Federer was retiring, Nadal was on the way out, Carlos and Sinner were too young, etc and Tiafoe fumbled at every single point. He is the type to rely solely on natural talent and "crowd energy". Never really worked on improving his game year to year
I love Shelton. His game reminds me of the 90s Tennis greats. Pete, Agassi, Jim Courier, etc. Makes sense because his father played in the 90s and is his coach. But I love that type of play. Very big serve, big forehand, decent at serve and volley, etc. He easily has the best chance to win a Major as an American

True that, he is what he is. But you know he is kicking himself that Tsti.tsipas aka Sissypas made 2 Grand Slam Finals during that weak 3 year era lol, when he could have done the same
