The Drop Shot Don struggling against Seb Korda :dwillhuh:

Alcaraz forehands are usually quite consistent but timing is off in this set.

Carlito might’ve gone straight from the club to the court…only way I can explain it.

I wonder if this Sam Lopez coach is a real deal head coach that is the guy to really control the situation when Carlos is struggling with an opponent. Looks like they made Sam the head coach because Alcaraz's team wanted more control. We know Juan Carlos Ferrero was that coach, not sure if Sam is. Time will tell

Carlos has credited him as being the architect for his technical improvements on his backhand and serve.

Truthfully, Carlos is talented enough to not really need an overbearing coach but like you said...time will tell

Unless he stumbles more than usual in clay court season, not sure you can ring alarm bells yet. And I expect him to do worse because he lost one match during the entire swing last year and that was only because he was somewhat injured.
