Yeah Nurse Ellkins has gone fully over to the dark side 
. I wasn't sure if it was implied that she smashed Asian dude and at the end had to put her Golden Lotus in her mouth or he just wanted the foot in his mouth while he beat off . Either way, she showed the level she was willing to go for Cocaine Thack. Thack paranoid as hell, doing BnE, trying to sell out his name, and scrounging up coke bottles to try to get a fix 
. Meanwhile poor Birdie at the hospital trying to cop pleas for him on some "Dr. Johnson always has a peculiar laugh" while the rest of the group giving him the

. The scene with the men coming to take her to the loony bin while Edwards had to give her the ether rag was well done though. The lighting on this show continues to impress and I like her in certain shots the camera lingers on actors longer than you would expect while other characters on talking.
Algie done knocked up Nellie. My first thought was when were condoms invented? That scene with them almost performing the abortion with Algernon trying to stay detached and professional,but ultimately not being able to kill his own child
. From her perspective being naked and vulnerable looking for compassion, understanding the harsh realities of the time and why having the kid isn't a viable option.
