Dope show..tough for me to watch at times which is so odd. I can handle gore in horror flicks because I know it's bs but when it comes to medical shows, that's when I get all squeamish..go figure. anyway, loved it. Can't wait for the next episode. Soundtrack, acting, writing, ballsiness:smugbond:

It seems its becoming more common practice to put first episodes up for free.
If you have a good product it's smart because it's sure to drum up interest you might not have gotten before.
people are def on that "cinemax
" shyt because they have a history of releasing garbage shows. But all I need to know is Soderbergh is directing and Clive Owen is starring.

While the development of medical science in the early 20th century and all of the mind-numbingly insane procedures that came with it is a very intriguing part of history, the trailer for the show wasn't enough to win me over. I watched it solely on the strength of Soderbergh working with Cliff Martinez again (those synth scores ) and Clive Owen's rep for doing projects that rarely disappoint, and they all came through. Very good first episode, and I'm glad it tackles more than just the progress of medical science, seeing as the arrival of the black surgeon and the social aspect of it seems to be a big part of the story.
