I had to post some of them shows. The fact that you're black and will watch all this other cac shyt, but avoid Atlanta has me dying every time. I got a cousin in New Jersey that's the exact same way. She's a Trump supporter too.

and I’m sure most black men here feel the same. Not everything has to appeal to me purely because the color of my skin says it should. World doesn’t work like that. My favorite character of all time is peter Parker and it’s not because we share the same skin complexion. It’s because I identify to who the man is and I relate way too much sometimes. There’s no rhyme or reason to it man shyt is what it is
Fair enough. He still kinda reminds me of her though, but it is what it is.
The Film Room respects your opinion and we know your a well educated black man. Which is why we want you to watch Atlanta and give your opinion on it. The B.A.N. episode alone would be right up your ally with that political communication stuff. Just watch the pilot breh. 20 minutes of your life ain't nothing. You've probably spent more time posting about not watching it at this point. And since your a 2x Poster of The Year, why not make it a 3peat on some Peter Parker your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man shyt.

Atlanta would be the perfect show though if you enjoy Insecure, Power and Blackish. It's like a mixture of all three of those shows, but better. And if you're not a Donald/Gambino fan, are you at least a fan of Keith Stanfeld? Cause his character steals the show. Same with Paper Boi character Brian Henry. 3 well-educated bothers (like yourself) are doing amazing work on this show. Give it a chance breh.
You'll be glad you did
I got 2 other MartyMcFlys at my work I've been trying to put on Atlanta since 2016. Every few months I gotta check if they watched it yet too.
I dunno why Atlanta isn't as appealing a show as Insecure or Power. I was hyped from the first trailer and it exceeded all my expectations.

Adding to the list of nonsense Marty watches (based on his posting) instead of Atlanta:

Naw. I turned that shyt off after 1 episode.
