If you live in the Detroit area and read or watch sports on the news then I know you heard that max told reporters that he was done after 7 because he was tired.

Obviously covering for Leyland. He's not gonna throw his manager under the bus. Max went over 115 pitches seven times this year, including a season high 123 his last start of the regular season. Stop playing the contrarian role just for the sake of argument.
