I’ve said for years that Emma vs Paige was the real catalyst for the WWE starting to put more effort in women’s wrestling, but the Knockouts were probably 7 years ahead of the WWE when it came to promoting women’s wrestling. The WWE was knee deep in Diva Searches and Women’s Special Slap 1 while Impact was featuring women in flat out battles.
