I notice the hard cam isn't facing the crowd. :dahell: They should've kept it that way.

It looks like they drew a good crowd, but it's hard to tell because Impact only lights thr first few rows of the audience.

I was at the tapings this weekend. It was probably a 150 max in there. It was only about 4 rows per side with about 20 seats per row and then bleachers on both sides. Not every seat was taken

You're right. I'm sure that Swann would get snatched up really quickly if he hit the free agent market.
With Swann, I can see either AEW/ROH, MLW or NJPW getting him.

In MLW, he can go after the World heavyweight , National Openweight, Tag Team due to Willie Mack being there and the World Middleweight title.

AEW/ROH he has more of an ceiling in AEW sadly as he most likely will be going after the All-Atlantic and TNT title, while in ROH however, he can go after the World, Television and Pure title.

Lastly with New Japan, there's the IWJP Junior Heavyweight, US, Never Openweight, Strong Openweight and Television title.

How's the fan experience at an Impact show? Do they have signings or meet & greets?

Apparently they have vip that included meet and greets, autographs and pictures in the ring. I bought it day of so it wasn’t an option for me. The first night the instructions wasn’t clear but on the second night they offered meet and greets to the general public for $40. First night it was Bully Ray and Mickie James. Second night was Bully and Rosemary’s group. Apparently they had meet and greets before the show. They encourage cheering and booing and even do a plan spot where the have everyone cheer and boo so they can record reactions and sounds. The only crappy part is we don’t see the vignettes so we don’t fully get the storylines while watching the show.

Also saw Sammy take the razor blade from his wrist and slice himself. Pretty obvious when you see it up close lol. Also, Sami and Eric Young had a match where you can’t pin your opponent unless they are bleeding. Eric Young cut himself so bad, it was disgusting up close. Definitely the worst blade job I’ve seen live (not deathMatch bad, but huge difference between his and Sami’s blade job in their match. Should be coming on in 3 weeks

In an interview with Bobby Fish’s Undisputed podcast (via Fightful), Steve Maclin spoke about his run in Impact Wrestling and how he wants a shot at Impact World Champion Josh Alexander.

He said: “I’m gunning for Josh Alexander at IMPACT, he’s the World Champion. He has a big match coming up at Over Drive. I don’t know, that’s up to Scott D’Amore to make that match. I’ve been beating all these former World Champions and everybody just keeps waltzing in and gets their shot. You would think after you would win matches, you would eventually get a title shot. It doesn’t seem to be working that way right now.
