Women’s 100m heats was fire. Missed the men’s one tho.

Did this get a lot of coverage in the states? Edit- I see above it was on nbc. I was in a sports bar in Dubai when this came on in the afternoon, so it was a pleasant surprise bc otherwise I wouldn’t have known this was happening. These track championships should be treated like UFC or boxing events or the big tennis opens, where when it’s on the horizon it needs to be marketed accordingly cause it’s fire and it would make some of these athletes be more well-known outside of just once every four years.

Nope. No promos leading up and it’s on delay on NBC (live on Peacock though.)Track and Field is niche status here. I seen more promos for the Winter Olympics (6 months away) than the championships.
