With the men’s race I’m not surprised. Our top men are aging out (Christian, Fred, Trayvon, etc). Noah was injured for most of the season. Kenny is a mental midget.
Kishane is going to have to learn to finish. Or bulk down.

I would say i dont think he will run a faster race.l, but that's just me. I think this big three/big four will start bottoming out soon
He would've beaten Thompson at Nationals this year where Thompson ran a 9.75.

He was injured and almost pulled out right before the race. Soft shoed the first 40 and was in last place. He basically ran Lyles' race to a 9.82 that night.

And that 9.87 in torrential conditions a few weeks ago looks absolutely spooky on a dry track. There's never been a better performance than that in the rain.

Situations obscured the fact that he's a level above the rest right now. He absolutely has faster than 9.78 in him.

Too many fake demons in this competition

I'd say the warm up track being a 15 min drive away is phucking with some of the athletes preparation tbh.

Also some of the US based/trained athletes only turned up to Tokyo a couple days before the competition so aren't fully acclimatised yet. While many have been in Tokyo for 10 days prior to the Champs.
