It kinda is. Especially as she stepped out of her comfort zone to do this.

What she did isn't simple at all.

It's not simple but there's a pattern. We know she is fast whether its on the flat or hurdling this has already been established before the pandemic. And if she running 50 secs for the hurdles. Which as we know 50sec for the 400 flat is/was elite level. She was running consistent 49's when she concentrated on the flat in 2023 before she shut it down for the rest of the year.

Lane 9 isn't a bad lane. What's to say she would of run a sub 48 time of she was in Lane 4-5-6?. Lane 9 you can run your own race unless Lane 8 blasts past you on the bend on to the back straight.

The Men 400 in Rio showed us that as long you commit from the gun and you have that endurance/stamina like Paulino does anything is possible.
