What is the grift here, Bayer didn't capitulate?

For all y'all, don't get sick these next 4 years. Quack science is making a comeback. I say this as someone who doesn't like taking pills shyt as it is and I have my own preconceptions with the pharmaceutical industry. However, I do trust the science. I just think there's an overreliance on taking a pill and not adjusting the lifestyle that requires the pill.

It’s simpler and more nefarious from my perspective.

Promote quack science.
Undermine faith in the medical community.
Remove government funding for healthcare and the most vulnerable people already lost faith in steps one and two and will likely die before they realize they're duped.
