Outside of my OFT goonies, I didnt see people in this thread rooting for Ashley Cole, Young, Glen Johnson, TheOx, Welbeck & Walcott.

And there was a thread on SOHH for the World Cup saying if you support the USA over Ghana, then you were a c00n. Ignoring the fact that the US had a lot of black players (and 2 sons of immigrants from Nigeria) in the squad that match. I never see any of you all ride for them like its for Balotelli.

dont get me wrong, I root for Balotelli and he has a lot of strength and perseverance. But Balotelli is not a black leader. He is not doing this for any cause other than to help them cacs from Italy win (which is why he held up his shirt after the first goal). Not everything needs a race war to follow and you are doing him a great disservice by rooting for dude just because he is black.

Anyones intentions on rooting for w/e team/player they want shouldn't really matter, unless theyre just jumping on a bandwagon.

I'll root for italy in the finals and for balotelli to score a goal or two.
But once the euros are over and he goes back to city, il lose all interest in him.
