You couldn't pay rappers that actually went to college to acknowledge it. If you gave Ross and Plies 10 stacks to reference their colleges on a single they wouldn't do it. Kills the image.

Funny how Plies sounds like he graduated with honors in his interviews while his songs sound like 9th grade was dropped by lunch lol...Yet Killer Mike & Banner went from their hood to school but gotta fight like dogs for airplay if they don't dumb down their music aintthatboutabytch

That single actually dropped in '90, but Laquan's album didn't do so hot.. most people remember it from being featured in Strictly Business (early Tommy Davidson Halle Berry) ..I concede that it might not be the guys, but they were known dancers so if they did a cameo here 'n there it wouldn't be a shock...btw they were in the video to S&P's Shake Your Thang back in '88 'bout the same time that 1st album was a Yo! MTV Raps staple
