i dont know.
i know that the nasty r&b style that h-town ushered in, isnt treated fairly by these tv & radio stations. they were always moreso a fan favorite than anything else. i doubt they get an unsung. too much shade is thrown on them.
on the other end of the scope, i remember when golden girl was still on the radio here, circa 5 years ago, they played "knockin da boots" and then she said how when she was at some station in virginia and they had their annual concert. she said h-town was on some diva chit backstage.
latest example: on labor day, vh1 soul did an r&b group marathon. they played at least 2 videos by the big groups. some groups got 3. then they had a 2-hour block for the lesser names, and they snuck h-town in there. they played their video between 2 groups that i never even heard of. meanwhile, there were lesser groups that got a 2-video block.
