There's a lot of 2000 full episodes of Nitro/Thunder and Youtube and I watch them for comedy every now and then. fukkery isn't even the word to describe that shyt, I think I stopped following them in mid 99.

Vince Russo, goddammit.

Before the nWo took off, I never looked at WCW for anything. Whenever I was at mania parties in the 90s and dudes would be dropping these regular dudes' names, I'm like "who these nikkas?". When I heard Chris Benoit's name for the first time, I was nearly :dead: at the thought of some generic dude gettin this much love.

There were those Clash of the Champions joints that would come on from time to time and I'd try to follow. That lack of production quality and excessive mullet endorsing wasn't a good look for me.

HOW AIN'T TED TURNER HIRE A nikka TO DESIGN A NEW RING DURING ALL THEM YEARS??? :damn: That shyt was small as fucjk, and the sound the mat made when someone bumped on it, LAWD. It sounded like a 70s kung fu flick tumbling sound effect.

I agree with everything except dem Clash of the Champion joints... that was my piff. Not gonna lie around that time other than WWF I was focusing a lot on what was ECW was doing.

I know I've posted this image a few times but I might as well post it again. Every single time I look at this, I'm just like :lupe:. I always wonder what they would had in store for that event. I actually liked some of the storylines that were going on toward the end :manny:. Steiner was an unstoppable monster putting Sting, Booker T, Nash, and DDP on the shelf and some new faces were getting their shine. It still didn't compare to what WWF was doing, but I thought that it was getting better. I guess it was to little, to late for WCW. I think their last PPV ironically summed up WCW pretty well - Greed.

BTW, have you all ever seen this site? http://www.ddtdigest.com/ It has all of the WCW reports/results from October of 96 to the bitter end in 2001.

It also has this too. :pachaha:

The one thing I've wondered was if this happened, how much ECW influence there would have been on the new WCW. ECW went out of business officially in April and the ECW part of the Invasion didn't start until July. If somehow things were resolved before WWE purchased WCW, you could have seen the ex-ECW guys breathing new life into the new WCW. Rumor has it they were targeting Joey Styles to become the play-by-play guy for the new WCW.
