I seem to recall more than a few people killing Magic GM Rob Hennigan because he wasn't interested in dealing

Dwight Howard for Andrew Bynum. How's that looking now? Anybody willing to step up and admit they might've shredded the Orlando braintrust a touch early? From what I'm told, the Magic did their homework on Bynum and decided not to hitch their rebuilding project to his knees and level of maturity. The Sixers, on the other hand, felt they were a legit big man away from contending and decided to roll the dice. (I'm not willing to suggest the Sixers screwed up just yet, since there's still a chance Bynum could play for them, although I'm hearing a late-season showcase to prove he's worth a long-term contract might be the best they get.) In any case, just imagine how Hennigan and Co. would be getting crucified if they had moved Howard and taken back a big man who not only wouldn't be playing for them right now but quite possibly never would play for them.

I feel for this franchise and it's fans. After the shyt Shaq, Grant Hill, and TMac put you guys through, Orlando deserved better than fukking Dwight.

I root for the Magic as my East team. They're actually playing surprisingly better than I ever could have expected. Staying in games that have no business being as close as they are, like last week's tilt against the Heat.
