Ya'll gotta stop this. There hasn't been an accurate "next NBA great" prediction in how long? Serious question. OJ Mayo was supposed to be the next lebron according to some of ya'll. As it turns out every time, the next NBA great is always in the gym working getting little to no recognition, while high schools with media access and connections to division 1 colleges produce athletes who peak early and can't convert to the next level.

Hoping he makes it and becomes the next great player in the NBA but it is still early and we gotta hope he continues to progress and his game doesn't stagnate at a young age. The potential is definitely there for him to be a great player one day though.

Destroyed the comp during the summer? Seen a few type this already, but that's incorrect. I'm trying to think of anyone who destroyed the summer circuit for 2016 individually, and the most I'll pick is Trae Young and Michael Porter for Mokan Elite/Nike Peach Jam. Even that is a stretch as that's one circuit. Mass Rivals swept the Adidas circuit, the same circuit he is in, and I think Sports U won the Under Armour circuit. The major select camps, Zion did his thing but to the point of saying destroyed? Negative. Marvin Bagley is the top kid in his class, and you can't say he destroyed either.

This is why all eyes is on Zion this summer. Man his popularity is so huge now, every game is selling out. Right now, it's a bidding war for him between Nike and Adidas, and people are hoping aka begging he picks Nike. Romeo Langford might make the switch too.

My personal opinion. The kid still has one AAU session left, which will elevate his game and I know some SC heads won't agree, but he clearly needs to switch to a prep powerhouse. His current comp is horrible and his hype is gigantic. The pressure is starting to get real. College will most likely be Kentucky, but I could see him killing at Arizona too.
