welcome to the club breh

the older you get the more goofier you look wearing some new trendy shyt targeted for adolescents

:lawd:

which is why nikkas need to develop they own mature style. Alot of shyt thats trends now are things old heads been wearing forever.

Chambray shirts
weathered wingtips
Jeans that actually fit.
Slim fit suits...

none of those shyts are new, and yet people dismiss them as trends...no. They will still look cleaner and more mature than walking around in skinny jeans and jordans im sorry. That look is sorry. :scusthov:

the older i got&coming into knowledge of self and mindfulness helped me see that most of the external world is a canine&equestrian extravaganza,a hollow flimsy facade, straight maya meandering, once this set in i really stopped caring about fashion and such, and i used to be one of,if naught the most fitted dude in my hood,i would always get stopped with the "oh shyt bruh, where you cop those":leon: type ish,but it never really helped my low self esteem deep down,in fact it hindered progress cause you fall into the mind trap that the exterior is all that matters and if i can hide behind my emperor's robe then everything would be dandy when it obviously wasn't..

funny thing is i still get stopped every now and then even though i try naught, guess i just know how to coordinate properly, tis the Taurus in moi..:manny:

but mostly its Prodigy status for moi, come through wrinkled up,think i give a fukk status..:troll:

I'm 30, so I'm officially an old nikka. But on the real I never cared about fashion, especially shyt that's "in"

I usually shop at Macy's clearance rack looking for them 75% discount deals. I do buy some high end shyt from time to time, but none of my clothes have logos or anything on it. I try to look as nondescript as possible.

As someone said earlier, its all about fit...fit...fit. Clothes that skim (not hug) the body is the best.

As a youth, I, too, was all on the trendy styles (Jordans, Polo, etc.). As I matured and more learned, I realized the cost basis of these items and decided to curve my purchasing. (ex. $250 Foamposites costing like $5 to $6 to make:snoop:)

Personally, I am fond of Banana Republic, Levi's, Chucks (bytches go with everything). I like my clothing options to be interchangeable. Not this "my shirt matches my hat which matches my shoes and the lining of my jeans" and they only go with each other and nothing else:wtf:.

Of course the ATL
I feel differently, but I do understand where the TS is coming from. Last summer I had the latest J's, denim, shirts, etc. This summer, I was WAAAAAY more casual with my look, but I'm investing more in my business wear to get the tailored suits & fits that I want. Going into Fall, I plan to cop a few new pieces for my casual look, but I've got a nice & balanced wardrobe based off last yr so I'm good now.

P.S. Nothing in my wardrobe is from Target :smugfavre:
