It hit me hard af, I had a boy get married this weekend. 2 of my homies just graduated and are moving soon, My best friend graduated last year and is now a high school teacher/coach (even though we grew up together being class clowns and hating school even if we were smart), peers are making big moves now.

It really hit me after we got back to our cars tonight after partying and my best friend who I only see every few months talked about how lame tonight was and told me it aint the wave anymore. Told me he's looking for a woman to settle down with, and to stay in and get some sleep now and he cant even pretend to be on the same wave anymore.

it changes alot. some relationships that you think are strong as fukk end up dwindling away before your eyes. some over next to nothing. you'll see people you know turn to drug addicts and shady people also. nothing worse than having to avoid somebody who used to be your homie.

I mean at times both happen, I realize that.

It's so short lived and pointless bro. Just pure futility. I see younger faces now that I'm older. Getting hammered, not being able to walk, or frontin on the boy even though they know I'm a good looking man.

It's just dumb man. From 18 to 21 I went out from thursday thru sunday, partying then hitting downtown. Holla'n at women, getting too wasted to even remember, poppin adderalls to keep me up, poppin xanny's to black out.

I've woke up naked in a random chciks kitchen before and had to run a half mile with nothing but her rug that I stole on my naked body to find my car.

I have some fun stories man, but at the end, it all means so little. Now I just feel like excelling in life so I have a reason to party. So many are out here partying without reason beyond it's the weekend. Its sad man.]

I think I'm really gonna hop on this kickback wave and start throwing mean kickbacks, with the right people so everyone can get to know each other and network rather than it being about getting smashed and finding a chick to hit from the back

im glad you had this realization. i recently met a dude my age who as a drug addled fukk up. he had a pilot's license but couldnt use it because he had probably caught a drug case.

Well yeah, I just thought id have more longevity. Im the last tp graduate and I knew things would change because of this but not like they have.

I need aome life experiences, traveling, going to new places. taking up hobbies that have growth beyond myself instead of producing music.

I just never thought at 23 I would have experienced pretty much all there is to experience. Not to mention that id be leaving my friends and have to make a whole new circle or join into other circles. Its hard bruh, I just wanna have a good time when I can anr its disappointing dealing with qll these new personalities who arent down for the things you are or just dont make the experiences as fun as if u were with yoyr homies.
