The opiod crisis is now in the hood. Hip Hop should not be promoting this epidemic like its cool.

Exactly...it was for the hardcore. The junkies. Now its the cool thing to do. Thats a serious issue when something alligned with the junkies turns into the cool thing to do. With crack hip hop was like "ok this isnt a cool drug..its an epidemic" but on the flip side popping pain killers is now cool in hip hop.

Pay attention to what u quoting. 70's R&B was not promoting no killing, robbing, violence or abusing women. 70's R&B was dominated by love songs.
Call me a square, but I don't like rappers glorifying ANY drugs (including weed) in their songs.
