Ignore multiple reports of garbage gameplay brehs :mjlol:

Its not about one review bruh, its about a pattern. Just like if you were to buy an item and you checked the reviews.
You not going off one review. maybe you seen 10, if four of them talk about the same defect then you know that item potentially has that type of defect. In this case, the gameplay is the defect

"Why I don't think the game is as trash as I originally thought" isn't exactly glowing praise. And even in those "positive" previews their still shyting on the games archaic mechanics.

There's literally dozens if previews either from this recent gameplay or the first reveal, that say the game isn't good.

The demo of The Order: 1886 I played at a recent Sony event may well have been one of the worst I've ever encountered. This is mainly because a lot of the game's mechanics seem older than the year referenced in its title. It's handsomely staged – a beautifully rendered, artistically interesting world with superb character models, dense environments, and nary a bit of aliasing in sight. But its moment-to-moment gameplay is so old-fashioned I'm surprised it doesn't require an 8MB Memory Card (For PlayStation2) to save.

But as soon as I was inside, things quickly devolved into standard cover-shooter fare. I followed my fellow compatriots through the airship, who led me down the correct path and opened locked doors for me and told me who to shoot when I had to. Where there were doors that my partner couldn't open, I was tasked with opening them via a hacking minigame. And where there were enemies that threatened to raise the alarm, I was tasked with performing stealthy kills. It's the latter that proved to be the most grating aspect of The Order, not because they were hard as such, but when I did make an honest mistake and peek from behind cover a tad too early, I was treated to a frustrating insta-death before being sent back to the last checkpoint.

There's always going to be a battle between presenting a compelling story and giving the player freedom, but this level of enforced stealth in a game that's built upon such a rich (and dare I say realistic-looking) world just sucked me out of the moment. Sure, I shouldn't have alerted the guard, but why not give me a way to fix my error instead of sending me back to the last checkpoint in shame? With the Order it's very much its way or the highway. Later, after making my way through the ship's galley, I was tasked with assassinating rebels disguised as official guards, who, I was told, could be identified by the lack of a shoulder patch on their uniforms. Easy enough, but the game refused to let me go out on my own, instead pre-highlighting the guards I needed to inspect, and sapping all the fun out of the mission.

This would all be somewhat forgivable if the shooting itself was especially exciting, which sadly, it wasn't. The feeble weapons and slightly iffy cover-system didn't make the shooting bad as such, but after running through the corridors of that airship, trying to chase down a rebel assailant while fighting off a stream of armed guards, The Order so far just wasn't hitting the tight, mechanical joys of say a Gears Of War, or aVanquish. Maybe the drive of the story (obviously not part of an isolated demo) will be enough to push players through the combat. Certainly, I want there to be more to The Order: 1886 than what I've seen so far, because it really is a beautiful thing to behold. A lot of love has been poured into those visuals, let's just hope by the time it sees release the same can be said for the rest of it.

Be in denial brehs :heh:

I don't have it but I believe so. I'm always reading articles on the new updates and Akademik who was the most vocal has quieted down as of late and I see him online in that game all the time now so I'm assuming yes. Have they patched in weather affects for DriveClub yet?
And how is that online? Because that was the reason for the PS+ versions delay. DriveClub+ isn't out, so I guess I answered my own question and yours :win:

Enjoy those multiplats bruh!

Dozens of reviews....I see 2? What new math is this? I gave you 4 that say otherwise.... :ld:

Gamespot gave The Last Of Us an 8...I do not take them seriously at all.

And Court not even having the Larry's flagship title says enough.

You played this??

The gaf thread full of glowing impressions.

Nah, you know the drill .... find a couple of cats who didn't like it and make that the narrative of how bad the game is while completing ignoring the fact that there are way more positive than negative reviews. :mjlol:

That's like me dropping a review saying Giving Gears a 7 or something. Stop it.

Yall gonna be starving hard

Yup, just like any time ign says something you don't like, you claim how they are just trash or being paid off. Now you're posting their videos as proof.

Will up this thread when reviews for this game come out so we can update your list of sites that aren't reputable.
