I think it has to do more with isolation than mental illness, or lack of sex (though, I'm sure those things are a small part of the problem too). When you're isolated with no friends and no one to talk to you become asocial, and start going inside of yourself. You live in your own head, and make up shyt that might not be true. This happened to me when I was in high school with no one to turn to. I started to become withdrawn, and paranoid. Anyway, RIP to the victims.
