Did not enjoy the first game. I'm 25 hours into this and loving it.

How does the combat feel? The first one felt hollow and weightless to me and it made me not like it

I haven't played the first Outer World and heard its disappointed and lazy. Should I play this game first before part 2? Is this like Fallout games?

The first one was great but it didn't have the depth of gameplay this has due to budget constraints. This one is better at every level. I'm obsessed

Yes it is and if you have a powerful pc it looks stunning.

Have to remember that the first one came out last gen. This one looks wise is an upgrade on every level. Can’t speak on combat yet because I’m only like an hour in but all the things that made me really like the first one seem present

Finished. I give it a 9 , it was a lot of.funnand the gun play was actually quite incredible especially when combined with the flaws and perks.

Just got the Bio Mass and Shock Machine Guns. Gun play feels way better in this one

Mannn the Xbox tax is REAL. That or the type of games people used to love and are looked at as classics in gaming gamers no longer enjoy.

I've been hooked on this game since early access and couldn't quite put my finger on why I was enjoying it as much as I was (it seemed much more familiar) Then today it hit me, it's basically fallout new vegas in space!

It's a very solid 9/10 for me. Great game, I will say that the real meat of the game doesn't really feels like it comes together and kicks in until a little over mid way through the game if it doesn't click for you right away.

Also playing on hard mode makes it way more engaging combat wise.

Gamers nowadays critique from the standpoint of what a game isn’t rather than what it is. Kinda saw this some Yotei reviews too and even the KCD2 developer was talking slick about this one.

Obsidian’s got a formula though and I’m very much gonna be on board from now on
