If I were them I would’ve put word out that we were making All Eyez on Me 2 or something in the vain of a Makaveli album follow up and I’d gather verses from the best of the industry off that alone. If we couldn’t get new Pac verses we’d sample his voice and use it on choruses and such

Right, I’m not gonna say they were necessarily blackballed, but given DR’s troubles/beefs it certainly didn’t help them being associated with them.

yup

they were pretty much blackballed


outside of working with Rap A Lot Records, they ain't have many options

they had beef with so many people and they had a rep, it was pretty much over

it's a miracle they put out the albums they put out post Pac's passing
