Salute to them , especially about the music part.

Music sets the tone.

Music is a literal "spirit" that you are inviting into your establishment. You play jezebel and thug spirited music then you'll get the twerking and gun-toting crowd.

If I owned a spot like that, R&B , jazz and some southern soul music is the only music that would get played. Maybe even some upbeat gospel also to definitely keep the demons away.

Can't nobody EVER convince me that music is "just entertainment".

Exactly. Music literally sets the 'spirit' of a place. In the Bible, Saul was tormented by an evil spirit, and when David played the Harp for him, it drove the spirit away.

Certain songs are banned from a club because they almost always start a fight or a shooting. You play the wrong music for too long and you can be certain trouble is on the way. "Tear the club up", "Throw your sets up" and a fight is on the way right after.

Same thing with dress code. If you are too lax, your restaurant is going to turn into waffle house 2.0.

The thing about standards and decorum is it must be introduced early in a persons life. If for 22 years I never had to clean my house, abide by any rules, and do what the fukk I want how would I respect anybody else rules. If I get to some else house and they ask for me not to curse, or take off my shoes I may find that to be “doing the most” because I’ve never had to abide by anything.

Some of these folks truly feel offended because they spent majority of their life doing what ever they wanted to do.

I even saw a sign at Golden Corral saying “ shirts and shoes are required to enter”. Lol

more restaurants should have a dress code. It’s a shame that grown men and women need to be told how to dress decently when they go out.
While i fukks with it

Its always a slippery slope where white and wanna be white establishment do it to exclude a certain type of consumer.

White ppl set the tone. When white ppl started showing up in flipflops and surfer tee’s they had no option but to remove those rules. Plus the restaurant biz is riddled with issues due to uber eats and seamless. They want ass in seats no Matter how they dress.

We don't respect one another, and this is why I die on that hill of black people holding on to the N-word so tightly...it's all connected.

Anyway, that "Put on Norah Jones" part had me dying :mjlol:.
