Salute to them , especially about the music part.
Music sets the tone.
Music is a literal "spirit" that you are inviting into your establishment. You play jezebel and thug spirited music then you'll get the twerking and gun-toting crowd.
If I owned a spot like that, R&B , jazz and some southern soul music is the only music that would get played. Maybe even some upbeat gospel also to definitely keep the demons away.
Can't nobody EVER convince me that music is "just entertainment".
Exactly. Music literally sets the 'spirit' of a place. In the Bible, Saul was tormented by an evil spirit, and when David played the Harp for him, it drove the spirit away.
Certain songs are banned from a club because they almost always start a fight or a shooting. You play the wrong music for too long and you can be certain trouble is on the way. "Tear the club up", "Throw your sets up" and a fight is on the way right after.
Same thing with dress code. If you are too lax, your restaurant is going to turn into waffle house 2.0.
