video dropped right after pac died.

iirc, it was like a week later.

to further that statement, it was magical.

he gets shot
then a week later, he dies.
a week & some change after that, they drop a video of him rapping in heaven.

then a month later he drops the 7 day theory album, with all these one week occurrences going on.

not saying its worth going out so young and painfully. but if I had to go thru that, then that's how I 'd like to go out.​

I saw it when it dropped.

I didn't appreciate it until I heard it on a speaker in downtown Toronto. Literally on the street in front of a jewelery store. Summer 2012.

I just stood there and listened to the whole track. It just hit me like a tonne of bricks and way different than when the video dropped.

The organic nature of Pac’s come up is the thing that makes him the GOAT. This video is like Jordan’s GW shot against the Jazz in 98. The video etched him in stone as a legend.

I never knew the video version was different. I'm going to give both a deeper listen.

I was in the last month of bootcamp when Pac died. I saw this video the night I got back and it was so eerie. He was on top of the world when I left for boot camp in July 96 and to see that video and him with the angels in heaven was crazy. Also it seemed like the hip hop I knew before September of 96 had turned a page nothing seemed the same as 3 months earlier.

I always thought the video concept/theme fit Life Goes On better. Life Goes On shouldve been a single in my opinion.

I prefer the video version. He rapped the entire song and modified the lyrics to make them clean and a different last verse.
