Cricket >>>>>>> Baseball....

Cricket has way too much "swag" than baseball...There are numerous ways a batsman can hit the ball...

In baseball, dudes are just trying to hit as hard as they can...

I really don't care about that "hitting a baseball is the hardest thing in sports" argument...

Golf is also hard, but it's still slow and boring...Just like baseball...

Baseball is actually catered for people with low attention spans its just that a lot of people don't know the proper way to watch a game. Like some have already mentioned before baseball doesn't demand your attention at all times. In a span of 162 games every single play isn't going to be a must watch experience. Baseball is like the jazz of team sports its meant to be background noise and its easy to follow while your at home browsing the web, talking on the phone, doing a workout or whatever. It allows you to pick and choose when to pay attention.

This may sound like it gives credence to people saying baseball is an uneventful sport but thats why its my favorite sport to follow. I love the NBA but if I'm not 100 percent invested on the tv screen while watching it I lose interest because too much happens and I feel like I've missed out on an entire a game if I turn away from it for 7 minutes.

I always find it funny when football fans say baseball is to slow when the pace of a football game is almost just as slow. Team gathers around to call a play, QB hands off the ball to running back for a 2 yard gain, the referees come out to spot the ball, the coach calls the next play team huddles up again and a referee throws a flag on the field for a false start. Referee comes running down the field to announce the penalty to the entire field and the whole process is repeated. I love football too but its definitely not the fast paced game some of ya make it out to be. Plus the clock makes it another one of these games where where you could lose interest in a game if your not 100 percent invested in looking at the tv screeen.

As I get older I find it more and more rare that I'm ever just sitting down and just watching one game. I like to read, I like to browse, I like to work out in my room so the pace of baseball allows me to still do all those things and keep up with the game.

i dont get how nfl players play in the snow but baseball players cant handle some rain

Would you want to be a batter and potentially have a person who's vision is impaired a bit by rain throwing a damn near 100 mph ball water soaked baseball towards you? I've played baseball and getting hit by an 80 mph ball hurts like hell...add 20 more mphs to a water soaked ball :damn:

its the worst sport to watch zooted... i dont want to waste my bud by falling asleep

Breh, they don't play in the rain because of field conditions. How could you even play in the infield? A ground ball would get stuck in the mud from the infield dirt :mindblown:

That's why they cover up the infield when there's a rain delay.

:ohhh: So the secret to enjoying baseball is to not really pay attention to it, lest you be bored to tears...but to occasionally take a gander at what's going on, while doing other actually more enjoyable and stimulating activities

I've been doing it wrong all these years, trying to actually watch and the enjoy the game and shyt...but the key is to not even pretend like the shyt is slightly interesting and treat it like elevator music...I'll try this out one day
