He's doing better this year however, even though Kap is doing worse.

Other teams could get more out of him. He can still run.

also Kaepernick is bottom 2 qb in league doesn't help but Vernon is trash he's been washed up heavy

VD is a FA after this season so it'd basically be a 9 game plus potential offs rental. I don't see any team offering anything substantial for VD.

Even though VD still has a few miles left in the tank, I can't see him improving the Packers offense to the point of a just-noticeable difference.

That's not even the Packers thing they build the majority of their talent via the draft and undrafted free agents. A team full of no names except for their draft picks they rarely strike big in trades or free agency.

hes a player who needs to run a 4.3 to succeed

its gone and he has terrible football skills which could be ignored because of his freak speed
