Finally installed an AIO cooler and changed the case. Took a while to hook up and I did the fans wrong at first as they were running 100% max speed. Looks nice. I would've put it up on my desk but I need to extend my HMDI cable.

I fixed the wires inside as they were messy and I put the case on top of the desk. Much better now. Loving it.

My son upgraded from a RTX 2060 to a 5060 TI 16gb but he's not seeing much improvement in the games, specifically Spiderman 2. Any suggestions?

Do you have FPS limit turned on? How do you measure improvement?

hi

apologies if this has already been covered, but I just wanted to see what you were planning to do when Windows 10 reaches end of support (those of you who are still using it!). I'm still reluctant to use Windows 11 tbh.

Some options
  • Keep using it as normal
  • Switch to LTSC
  • Go for extended support (with or without ESU-bypass)
  • Go for micropatching (e.g. 0patch)
  • Upgrade to W11
  • Switch to another OS entirely
I'm not sure I could switch completely to Linux. I use a few distros for different things, but I don't know if I could use any of them as my main OS. Maybe one that comes with KDE Plasma? idk

I have a dual build but ditched win10 since I wasn't experiencing any issues with win11 on my other drive. I'm about to either put 10 back on or try Linux.
