Do you guys use any software to terminate background processes and optimize memory when playing games?? I remember I used some software back then called game booster but I looked for it today and the software I found looked sleazy. It was a software where you hit a big button that said boost and then it would shut down a lot of processes.

just turn off auto updates for all of your software.
whenever you remember to do so, update your shyt on your own.
memory is pretty cheap so i got 16GBs for like $60 its enough overkill to not have to worry about memory.Do you guys use any software to terminate background processes and optimize memory when playing games?? Yea I'm getting the 7950 most likely. I'm keeping Bioshock Infinite though I wanted that.the 7950 card comes with Bioshock Infinite and Crysis 3. if you don't want the code and go that route i'll give you $45 on Paypal for it cause i want both those games. i was gonna buy a code on eBay so let me know if you wanna go that route.
real talk, get a 1080p monitor
anyway, that offer nvidia has now is kinda weak too. fukk $150 for some wack ass free-2-play games
and yeah, the 7950 is closer to the 660ti in price and performance
I'm getting a 1080P TV later this year. Right now I'm playing in the bedroom on a 720P TV and I'd rather get a new card because I wouldn't be able to crank out 60fps on high-ultra settings @ 1080P right now with a 550TI anyway. Plus I can downsample to 720P from 1080P or 1440P(Via VGA). Also I hear there's a bios upgrade for the 7950 that ups the memory clock speed.
