Not that it's much better, but I got the Dell 5K for $1499 on Amazon.
It's $1,118.93 on Amazon right now. Get that price match.

I also own this monitor, but mine is refurbished. I got it for free thanks to a Dell mistake :win:
My video card only has 1 Display Port, though, so I have to run it at a peasant-level 4K resolution :to:

I'm still gaming at 1080 and I'm very happy with it.

I'll make the jump to 1440 at some point.
4k? I have it for TV.

5k...miss me with that.
I'm poor and struggle to maintain my PC master race status.

I was researching GPU's and monitors to buy and I pretty much came to this. I just want performance and 1080p seems to be the best on my pocket.

5K has become like second nature now. It looks amazing, but the initial :whoo:factor has gone away. I think 4K would be good for most people. I just got the GPUs for 5K, so why not? :manny:

But 4K is more than adequate for games at 27" :obama:

got these speakers a few days ago, after my Bose joints blew

I definitely recommend them if you're looking for some nice self-powered 2.0 speakers. good bass for a 3" driver (they also make 4" & 5" versions)

obviously a separate sub will give you more bass. I have one with my 5.1 system in the other room

but for my PC I wanted something simpler and more self-contained, that still sounds good
