just bought a dell xps 8940 for 590 off slickdeals with a I5 and 1660TI and called it a day.
My old rig was parted out and sold

I got back what I built it for new thanks to the gpu markups

I mean if people were paying attention, best buy had video card drops today for great prices. Also, Microcenter had tons of 3060tis and 3080s when I went last week. Microcenter isn't in like 60% of the USA
And alot of cats don't want to deal with best buy and setting alerts...
But I feel you. Easy come up if you can scour sites like that.
I don't game much so it doesn't matter.

My response was more towards your comment about feeling sorry for brehs buying video cards right now. Shouldn't feel sorry for them, they have options and they don't need to get a video card. If they need to build now they can just an Intel processor with integrated graphics and wait until prices normalize.

Did you change cases because you weren't getting good temps on the 3080?
Nah... That was a different build. This is my 2nd build. This one is a 3090 and the other is a 6900XT.
