not sure what you're seeing. bad fps/stuttering?

you can turn down 'head bob' (pause?) in the options, if that's what you're seeing. 'enter' on the numpad switches to 3rd person. unfortunately the alpha doesn't have a tutorial for Arma's weird controls

nah, it's not fps/stuttering.
it's the way the retinal kinda falls into place as you move it around.

i'll fukk with the game later and get back to this thread.

I think I know what you're saying. it's adjusts itself to show where your shots will hit. it kinda jumps around when there's changes in elevation and such. it's helpful if you're shooting around a rock, or something, and you want to make sure you're not gonna hit the rock

ok, i gotcha. i've never played an FPS that had this feature so it's kinda weird but i'll get used to it.

was this game free?
tom gave me a key so i didn't pay for it.
and will this Light version update to the final release version or will that be a separate download?

the retical thing is a new feature for Arma 3

basically when you bought the early access Arma 3 alpha you got 3 of those 'lite' invites. it's my understanding that the 'lite' alpha has no multiplayer, and you can't save anything in the editor. it also won't work after june 18th

I haven't played 90% of the games I bought. Probably never will either.

Seems like I overpaid when I bought the Alan Wake Franchise for $5 a few months ago :wtb:

there's some interesting psychology in how people will buy games just because they think they're getting a good deal, but then never even play the game. let alone some of you that have 100's of games like that

In my case its because I played most of the games I own (This Generation) on the xbox and ps3 since I was cheap and had years of gamefly. So when I see them on sale for a crazy price on steam I say "well maybe I will get back to it" and just buy it

I think I've posted it here as well, the average I have paid for a game on steam is like $6 or something. I think one of the few games I paid full legit price on Day 1 was Fallout 3.

I think the only game I paid full price for, on release, was Metro 2033. I know a lot of cats got that dirt cheap or free. plus performance was so wack on my gtx 260, that I didn't really play it until years later :sadbron:

I'm not trying to come at cats sideways, or call anyone out, but I do think people need to think before making so many impulsive/compulsive purchases. there's starving kids in China, and yall got a backlog of 100's of video games :troll:
