Great build. I'm not to big on HAF X though. Also good pick on the 670. I wouldn't be able to justify copping a 680 with how close them 670's are in performance to them, especially when both are overclocked.

Very good points  I liked the fact that the HAF X is a full-tower case which means that as these graphics cards get bigger and bigger I can still fit them without having to mod anything or compromise on airflow, also might look to move to watercooling down the line which this case is basically made for. The 670 when OC'd is only about 3-4fps worse off than the 680, I'll keep this setup for a year or two before thinking about upgrading to something like the 690 if the price has gone down considerably.

On the Haf-X I'm just not a big fan of the plastic ever since I've had the 700D/800D. In regards to the 670 yeah, I think it's kind of crazy that Nvidia released that card with performance so close to their top shyt.

My brother got that Cool Master Cosmos II, :lawd:

I'd have copped but you can't fit a full 360 radiator up top, :snoop:

Dudes got to start posting up their build pics :hamster:

You might as well just get another 670 and run that in SLI since a 690 is pretty much two 680s together in one card.

Hey breh's, I need a little advice.

I currently have an i3-2120 and a Evga GTX 560 TI. My system is playing all my games just fine, but I was thinking about upgrading my vid card to future proof this bytch a little. I was looking at the Evga GTX 670. Now if I threw this card in my machine, would the i3 bottleneck it? I was looking to upgrade to the i5-3570K down the line, but i'm not looking to purchase the card and cpu at the same time. Would it be better to upgrade the cpu first, then the card later?

Yes, get that CPU up to par first.
