Updated the bios and it saved me 5 seconds on the boot.

For future reference, you see where it says "CPU Socket" and on the right side it says 1155, that means any intel 1155 processor will work in there, which most i5 and i7s are 1155 socket currently. So the sky is the limit processor wise.
This also depends on if your motherboard / bios can go to ivy bridge then get this.. Most are compatible with ivy bridge but im reading that some are not, never even passed my mind honestly looking at your screenshotso just make sure it can run it.

Make sure you dont over use it on the thermal glue, changing processors is not the hardest thing in the world to do but at the same time you have to make sure the heat sink is on really good other wise your computer will over heat (doesnt mean it will break everything) but your computer will shut off constantly and you run the danger of ruining other shyt

its not, a nice little $200 lesson that I learned that I really dont want to get into right now
as far as the thermal glue, my processor is held down by a clamp do I still need thermal glue?
i think he meant thermal paste, and you dont need it to hold anything down, just to move the heat efficiently from cpu to heat sink. and yes, you should use it. under most circumstances it is not extremely important, but if you have an expensive cpu or are overclocking, then you really have no business running it without it.
but the packaging says thermal paste.. I think best buy had a brand called thermal glue at one time too thoughi cant remember if anybody linked it or not, but gog is having a summer sale
GOG.com
oh, and no drm

i got systemshock 2
bad stuttering. seems like a common problem:
GOTY version of Arkham City and DX11 issues: Batman Arkham City Community
you might have enough overhead to not notice it though

cleaned out my pc and I had enough dust in it to make a castle out of it. I dropped about 30C's just doing that alone
feeling.in cali at least the bay area we call it thermal gluebut the packaging says thermal paste.. I think best buy had a brand called thermal glue at one time too though
I felt the same way with AC, I just preferred how closed and linear AA was.
Open world games are overrated (except for games made by Bethesda)
i have to give nvidia credit. i cant speak for the whole 700 line, but i assume the titan and the 700s have the same fans. my 780 fan is pretty quiet, even in arizona weather.
i had a radeon hd 6950 that sounded like armageddon was starting even at idle when the air temperature was high. summers were terrible. i would have the noise from the AC and that damn card. it would get slightly better every time i clean the dust out.
invest in compressed air, brehs

nerdsYeah, they worked on how the fan ramps up in speed. Instead of it ramping up immediately it does it gradually. They apparently figured out that that's what gets to people the most. When the fan goes from 0-80 in a second. That together with the vapor chambers and you got one cool and quiet running card. At the moment the only cards with it are the 780/Titan/690. The 770 was supposed to have it but I have yet to see it available for purchase with one.
fukk compressed air, invest in one of these,
