Sniper Elite V2 is a sweet game.
try to shoot the grenades on the belts of the Nazis.

i did that bay accident one time and it was awesome.
after that i targeted them all the time, even on the dead Nazis.

Trust me, if I could, I would man.
I played the first one when it came out and was looking forward to the second one...
And to make matters worse, I ditched my pc - which I could swap a graphics card no sweat - in favor of a laptop.
But we'll see.

Maybe it's a steam issue? Were you the one that lost all of your steam games and then put em back in the folder? If so, I'd just delete all that shyt and reinstall steam (I know...that is fukking terrible though. I've been through that, that shyt pissed me off :beli:)

Looking through that text file again, I'm gonna go with a steam corruption issue. It happens. The steam community is pretty helpful, so you might wanna post there too. I had actual valve employees emailing me and shyt trying to get everything worked out (which they did ::gladbron:)

did you uninstall all of the games from your hard drive as well, or just Steam?

i'm uninstalling Steam as i type this.

Just reformatted my jawn. I cant connect to the internet because my network drivers are nowhere to be found and when I try to uninstall/install my "other devices"(ethernet controller, bci, etc.), they still leave me with an error message. Asus doesnt have the right driver so now Im kind of ina rut :to: anyone got some advice?

do you have the disk that came with your motherboard? if so just pop that in and install.
i don't know why Asus would not have the drivers for your board.

dumbass move , i threw the box away and when i moved recently, the disc probably got lost in the shuffle. Yeah asus doesnt have it because I guess the motherboard came out after win 7, which is retarded.

Yeah, I uninstalled all my games too, to be sure. Others throw them on an external and then put em back in the correct folder after the reinstall though. I dunno if that will work, but my completely fresh steam uninstall fixed my shyt.

just because Asus does not have the drivers does not mean you can't get them somewhere else.
there are plenty of places on the web that have drivers that manufacturers no longer supply.

if you don't know your boards model, then just download CPUID CPU-Z...you can get the model from there and get your google on.

Well, no green lines with 3DMark 11 with the most extreme settings in 5760x1080, so I guess my card is fine. But, I'm still having bad shadow flickering in Skyrim and parts of Borderlands 2. I know Skyrim is supposed to have bad shadows, but I don't remember them being that bad before. Other games, like Tomb Raider, have no flicker. So I guess I'm in the clear? :ld:
