seems like a good way to raise money for a project, as long as it's not a scam...

thats the thing tho...youre paying for a cat in the bag. now ok, for some big projects it makes sense to donate just for the past games the guys made.
and publishers suck.

but the thing is, with no regulation and deadlines from publisher imo these projects will drag for too long. give people freedom to do shyt that is already paid for....and it could end up a bad idea.

me, Im glad some games that arent very marketable raised some money for the project but Im very cautious about the end results.

yeah, life's a gamble. I would be careful before investing too much, but that's true in general

If it weren't for the hassle of selling my current ones I'd go ahead and make that jump x2. You're better off reading over the huge thread on em over on OCN.

I think you linked some info when this thread was started and I have done some google searches and people seem satisfied. One problem tho man...I HATE dead pixels. Like even ONE dead pixel is a problem for me and I quickly returned a 27 Inch iMac because of it.

Is there any other option that I can buy here in the states for say...$375-$400? I am willing to pay a little extra if I have to.
