I went and spent the $40 for a 360 wired controller. It's worth it to not have to map everything yourself and have the prompts match your controller. It's literally just plug and play.

nevermind there was a wire from my PSU falling down into the GTX680's fan which prevented it from spinning, I guess the lack of fan caused it to overheart and shut the PC off

do you have a crawl space behind your motherboard to run your wires through instead of letting them hang around inside your case? if so, then do that. my new case has this feature and i love it.

u don't have to map everrything urself, just open that program, select xbox 360 layout and play a game.


PS3 pad has the same exact buttons as 360 so its basically like playing with a 360


instead of pressing Square i gotta press X tho, X becomes A, R2 becomes RT, Triangle becomes Y etc, etc.... all automatically without worrying about mapping anything. but I've been playing Xbox games since 2001 so I know where all the buttons are by heart so its no issue


saved me 40 bux, already got 2 xbox controllers I don't use

I got the logitech dual shock. I have these dll's I dump into any game folder, and it thinks it's an xbox controller

Seems like theres an issue where you only get the full graphics in windowed mode.

this is the same case i have:

behind the mother board you can remove that part of the case.
there are holes in the wall that you mount the mobo on that you
can run wires through from the psu, up and behind the mobo and
then back into the case to make the connection.


so the inside of your case will look like this:

instead of this:

you will have better air flow keeping your system cool and it's way easier to go in there and work when you have to.

outside of free games This PC gaming sh1t is overrated


I played Tomb Raider, Far Cry 3. Crysis 3, and The Witcher 2 on Ultra settings via my 1080p 40" Sony Bravia and none of that sh1t really blew me away.


Yal n1gs be acting like this sh1t is a whole new game n sh1t, only difference between PS3/XBOX and PC i noticed so far is that the console ports usually have low ass resolution, that aside everything almost looks the same


I'm more hyped to play Last of Us and the new God of War than anything on the PC



guess I gotta wait til Watch Dogs is released before I experience some true PC piff

You play battlefield 3 right ? Well its capped at 30 fps on consoles and 16 players so yeah it is a fukking different game on PC.

Battlefield 3 on console looks and plays like complete shyt compared to PC

Id have like a 6.0 K/D and 1000 SPM on bf3 on console
