I suck at wire management and just bought a liquid cooler for my I7 and I couldn't believe how ass I am in this shyt.

what do you mean?
did you have trouble installing the cooler?

my case is built for water cooing but i never did it.
the newer systems seem pretty straight forward to install.

Be lazy brehs:mjcry:

You better be joking why the hell would you do that?

Man I am ashamed to discuss. Prior to buying the liquid cooler I had wires all over my case running across the motherboard little black stringy wires holding cords just terrible.

The liquid cooler installation which I am having a problem putting the back plate on the mother board has me taking wire management real fukking serious. I hate anything to do with CPU installs and fans.

can't you run your wires behind your motherboard?
that will clean up most of the mess.

my case is big and the power supply is at the bottom, so the cables wont reach :francis:
I had to run that one 4pin cpu cable around the front for that reason. but if you're really picky about that kind of stuff, you can get extension cables

Since you're not going to high resolutions or VR (which a 980ti supports well, mind you), you might as well keep it. shyt is worth like half what you purchased it for anyway. It'd just be wasted money. Plus, we haven't seen any real benchmarks yet for the 1080. People are saying it's 20% faster than the 980ti/Titan X, but who really knows? Now, if you can return it back to the store you bought it from for full price, then do it and buy the 1080. That way you won't be wasting any money and will actually save $50, all while getting better performance (however minimal it may be). If you're going the eBay/Craigslist route, I say it's not worth it.
Yeah, I wanted the 1080 but I fear the difference between that and a 980TI might end up being minor for a while.

980 SLI (assuming it works) isn't much better than a 980TI, correct?

If not. I might take an L on this and upgrade my other rig when the 1080TI comes out.

Yep, the reason I recommend people keep things tight is because it makes component upgrades easier to pull off. I also like the 2+ case fans video, that one did surprise me a bit.

Them dudes are cool as fukk in person

Sli gets worse year after year. I have Titan X SLI in my system, and SLI is a problem with 75% of games. I don't even know why I have 2 cards. Most games don't implement it properly and VR doesn't either. I'm waiting on the 1080ti or the Titan Pascal card myself. I'm done with SLI. I'm just gonna get one Titan Pascal and liquid cool it, so I can overclock it heavy

Edit: To answer your question, 980ti is about equal to 980 sli, if you overclock. fukk SLI, that shyt is a pain in the ass. Keep your 980ti if you can't get a full refund. Otherwise, return the 980ti and get the 1080

Dude went all out with putting shyt inside the PC itself. That is nuts how it didn't really do much. Obviously still keep things nice and neat, but glad I watched that video so I won't obsess over it if I ever build another PC.
