I tried to tell you a year ago, bruh Ultrawide is dope as fukk. None of the hassle of triscreen and most games just work on release with next to no tweaking. Movies without black borders are And it's 3k so if you download a 4k movie you can watch it at nearly it's native resolution but in it's native aspect ratio which is better than a 4k tv IMO. Also MOST 4k movies are only 2k upscaled to 4k anyway like The Martian.

The 1080/1080ti/new Titan have Displayport 1.4, which allows 190hz at 3440x1440 You're gonna be upgrading your monitor next year for that, trust me.

You did. But luckily by waiting, I got nearly $500 off

I can understand your hype. I used to be that same way. A new monitor hits you right in the heart and everything looks prettier...now you want more horsepower to crush it.

Not sure you why you want both cards though. Are you planning on getting an additional ultra widescreen monitor?

Nah, it's just that certain games can't sustain 60fps. Witcher 3 is damn near pushing 90% on both cards at my new resolution. 30% more sounds good right about now

And the new VR tech, while I'm a bit skeptical of it, sounds pretty cool

But to answer your question, buying just one card will be a step down. It's either buy 2 or wait for the Titan version. I figure I can sell both 1080 founder's editions for $500 each once the Pascal titan comes out (where I can, hopefully, get by with just one card). Nothing lost that way when I upgrade

Wow I would be strictly PC if NHL Madden and 2k had a huge focus on PC. NBA 2K on PC is on another level.

3 monitor gaming is over.. 21:9 is more than adequate, and I can use my Titan X sli setup to the fullest.

I've been fukking up with triple monitor gaming. This ultrawaide is the truth.

I might buy another one and really fukk up the widescreen gaming situation
