Yeah, it's definitely possible with the $200 480xAlso if you plan out I think a $700 VR build is possible, but you will be with budget parts throughout outside of the CPU/GPU.
no ssd either

AMD has been pissing me off since the bulldozer flop.Yeah, it's definitely possible with the $200 480x
I'm surprised you recommended the 1060 over the 480x. I thought you were an AMD guy. Maybe you've seen the light![]()

try the latest driver directly from geforce.comI replaced my main hard drive with a samsung 850 pro and did a clean install of windows 7. Now whenever I try to update my driver for my geforce GTX 750 ti, it crashes. Basically it installs and then when it does the mandatory restart it can't finish booting up windows. It'll start loading and then after a minute the screen flashes a few times like it was trying to apply the update and then crashes and automatically reboots my computer. Any idea what could be going wrong? I'm thinking of trying to find an older driver and installing to see if that works.
I had the EXACT same problem with not being able to login in after an update. Let it reboot, automically try to fix it (it'll fail), then go to advanced options, startup settings, and disable driver signature enforcement. Reboot again and it should let you log in to windows. Then run sfc /scannow from the command prompt to find the corrupted files. If you're lucky like me, it'll find the corrupted files and then fix them. It worked for me. Hopefully it works for you. shyt was real fukked up on my computer. I thought it was a windows updated (I'm on Win10), but maybe it's an nvidia thing.I replaced my main hard drive with a samsung 850 pro and did a clean install of windows 7. I got the moneyat 1080p...yes
At VR...barely, but passable
Really you gotta spend $1K plus (probably $2K) for state of the art PC gaming. To put it in perspective, my two 1080s cost over $1400 alone. That's just GPUs, and does not take into account every other component. State of the art gaming is expensive
maybe the components will sell for cheaper on ebay
