Nah, I'm cursed with this tech shyt. I've literally taken more Ls than anybody I've ever heard of. 2 690s broke on me, 2 titan Xs broke on me, 2 sticks of ram broke on me, cyberpowerPC just screwed me over, my first 5K dell was fukked up, my first Samsung 4K tv was all fukked up and I had to get a replacement. I literally have the worst luck with tech. I'm think @Orbital-Fetus is right, I'm cursed. :to:

shyt pisses me off :mjcry:

I personally sent a mass message to the PC gods so that you live in pc component hell for at least 2 years.

edit: Might contact microcenter now as you still have about 3 months left for your crime

@Ruck @2gunsup @____

Should I put the CPU liquid cooler at the top of my case, or should I do push/pull in the front of the case? I see pros and cons to both. I'll get good airflow with push pull in the front, but it might not be as cool as if I put it at the top. Then again if I put it at the top the cool air from the front of the case will flow upward and won't hit my gpus as well. :jbhmm:

I got an h100i, so there's no chance of putting it at the back and doing push pull with the exhaust fan.

What do you all suggest?

What I would do is pull push at the top, as intake so that cool air from outside the case is used rather then warm air from within the case. Rear fan as exhaust. Another benefit to this is that you most likely will have positive air pressure in the case which keeps dust out.

Hey brehs, lately I've been working on building my first PC, still sorting out my parts list and could use some advice

I'm having a hard time figuring out what monitor to go with, I'm pretty much locked in on going with an RX 480 and maybe grabbing another one in the future.

Since you've gone with AMD get a monitor with Freesync

That's what I've definitely wanted, but there isn't a lot I can find that are 1440p/144hz/Freesync/IPS

There's that Asus MG279Q but the reviews on it aren't the greatest.

Should I just drop the 144hz and find something else?

I've bought a SSD and I still have a HDD in my PC

Is there any difference moving just games to the SSD or will it be better to copy the whole hard drive?

You just gotta prioritize which of those features are most important to least important and drop the least important features until you find one you want. If you already have a monitor then you may want to stick with that for now. I'm holding out for a 4K, IPS, Freesync, high refresh rate monitor.

I don't currently have anything except my laptop. Just trying to figure out the best setup for 1440p gaming, and I don't know if a g-sync monitor is a realistic option
