I'd say it depends on what kind of PC you have, chances are you probably would benefit more from a G Sync monitor that's not 144hz

144hz won't do anything to help tearing, and might even make it worse depending on how many frames you're getting

So it depends really on what games you are planning on playing/how many frames you can get in said games.

If it was up to me, I'd personally go with a G Sync monitor in your situation

You can read up some more on it, search for something like 144hz screen tearing and see what you think

G-Sync and 144hz pretty much go hand and hand unless it's ultra-wide or 4k monitors.

I ended up grabbing the AOC G2460PG because it had literally nothing but positive reviews.

I've heard good things about it, really the only negative is that it's not an IPS monitor but that's not really a huge deal

And that G-Sync is so damn expensive

Yeah I would have much rather spent $188 instead of $350, but I heard too many bad things about screen tearing. Yeah I would love a do it all monitor, but hey you can't have it all. If you get IPS usually it's slower than TN. I have heard that for a TN panel it looks pretty good, which is a great thing.

For sure, not knocking your monitor I'm just saying that if G-Sync wasn't so fukking expensive you could get the same monitor for $200 cheaper and IPS.

Hope you enjoy it breh :myman:

How's the picture tho? Everybody always tells me to :hubie: TN panels because no matter how much you calibrate, it won't be as "vibrant" as an IPS model.

I have a hard enough time getting a monitor without dead pixels. Now I got people putting that in my ear.
