I am struggling to get past 2667 even with the Killer SLI X370the ram was ok. I was just mentioning that the motherboard wouldn't be able to use memory speeds higher than 2667. it will still work but it will be capped at a lower speed. to run 3000mhz you'd need the tomahawk or similar.
just hoping their shyts are quality and don't ship out DOA. But if you used them years ago and they're still out here I guess they're doing something right. My last motherboard was a gigabyte but I sold that pc when I was broke. And I'm two thumbs up for that mini-beast idea.. great thing is that it's more possible than ever with how cool these ryzen cpus are running out here. some people are hitting 55-60 deg celsius even while overclocked on air. If that isn't crazy...
