game is indeed pretty but its just a polished PS3 game imo
this sh1t must take up alot of power tho, i had my electric heater and PC plugged up to the same surge protector and the surge protector straight up clicked off my power when I booted up Crysis 3..

They keep homogenizing games, thinking it will make them sell more. All these games are essentially turning into a mini-uncharted... action-oriented, cover system, tons of cutscenes. It's like developers are afraid to take risks and are eliminating all the elements that make games distinct from each other.
Did you or @Malta play Max Payne 3? How does it compare? I want to play, but I have a feeling its $10 status.
I am assuming the gunplay in Max Payne 3 is much better, but I want to know what you think.

The game is pretty much that, a ton of covering up, and cutscenes. You spend like 75% of the game crouched over and in cover, it's basically Splinter Cell Conviction with some disguise mechanism thrown in.
I can't stress enough how bad the disguise system is in this game, here's the level of stupidty at work. Let's say you steal a cops uniform, well instead of it actually disguising you, if a cop looks at you he has a gauge that fills up and then he becomes suspicious. There's a level in the game where there's a ton of cops and a ton of street vendors, if you take either disguise your cover is blown, you're better off just playing the level as a bald guy with a bar code in the back of his head.
It's only a Hitman game in name and the fact it has a bald guy with a bar code, they could literally just swap Sam Fisher or any random character in and it wouldn't even matter.
I haven't played it, but heard nice things about it. I have a feeling it's along the lines of what all the games are turning into... 3rd person cover shooters.
Last game I played was Dark Souls, which I beat for the second time. I think I'll be replaying Baldur's Gate 2 next. Too many of today's games are way too similar for me. I'll just be waiting for a nice price drop before I start picking them up. My backlog is too large anyways.

Get Max Payne, this game is Splinter Hitman and the story isn't that great. There's maybe 2 ways to kill your targets, where as Contracts and Blood Money had a ton of different ways to get the job done.
I liked Max Payne, it's a 1 time play type of game but the story is solid even though the cut scenes run long sometimes and the action is great.
Another point of how stupid the disguise system is in Hitman, you have a meter of "instinct" and if you hold it while a guard/cop etc is looking at you they will drop their attention. But, all you do is hold your hand up to your face, the shyt is retarded.
