Normally you would be right, but I beleive he said that like me he has the xt version.

People refer to them as 7930's, the have the tahiti core not the pctarin core like the regular 7870's, so you can only crossfire with a tahiti chip, like the 7950 or 7970.

Cool, wasn't aware that they used diff architectures.

3dfx? that's when I was heavy into pc gaming. Quake 2, unreal and the like.

My first 3d card was a 3dfx Voodoo2. Goddamn Forsaken and Wing Commander: Prophecy looked crazy on it.

I told my dad to buy 3dfx stock just before they went belly up. I liked their video cards.

So I decided to use up my Micro Center warranty to replace the 690 with a Titan. I was planning on getting another 690 for quad sli but since 2 Titans > 2 690s I decided to just go Titan sli.
